Around 2014 i started getting interested in combining BIG-Data with electronics. I invented a Secure Wireless Router and Digital Interactive Voice Assistant. I not only enjoyed working on – back then – cutting edge technology but I also enjoyed the design aspects of the project. I wanted to create something beautiful, with a hidden message. The bars symbolize just that; bars. Bars keep valuables safe. And i wanted the assistant to show how fragile our data actually is, so i used Pirex glass for the Assistant’s casing. I took inspiration from the game of chess. So one i called Rook while calling the other Bishop. Unfortunately, the project did not do well on Kickstarter. In 2015 Amazon launched the ECHO and Alexa.
